Array Have you ever sneezed in your mask? One test is worth a thousand opinions. I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was. - Toby Keith Living life without taking the occasional risk is like lemon-pepper chicken without the lemon-peper. It's just chicken. -

Array I have indeed sneezed in my mask, but never vomited (and I never will, that mask will hit the ground so fast...)

forgot I was wearing it. been there with the same result. at a scholastic event a couple of years ago had the misfortune to see someone get sick w/o removing mask first- his father just shook his head, as mom ran over to him and he said 'Definately time for a new mask'. I couldn't have agreed more You can train for strength & speed but heart must come from within.

Theres nothing more satisfying than letting out a good intentional belch after making a foot touch. It's a traditional practice for me. The sweet is never sweet without the sour. -

Array I think it's funny when you get bashed on the head, say "ow" and put start rubbing your mask to make it hurt less Fencing: Violence is a way of life!!

Also sneezed in the mask, only to stare at a huge blob afterwards. I will say, compressed air does wonders. Don't take life so seriously... You'll never live through it. -

Array I once began the "Ahhhh" part of a big "Ahhhh-CHOO" sneeze in the middle of a bout at practice. As I turned my head away and covered my mouth with the crook of my non-weapon arm to keep from spraying the sneeze all over the place, my opponent resourcefully decided to take advantage of the situation and attack. Blindly, I managed to parry and land a flick riposte to the back. The whole thing didn't go over well with my opponent. -
I saw this bout where at the end of the bout this kid is coughing and hacking away in his mask. Really bad, like he's got SARS or something. He takes off his mask and keeps hacking away, covering his mouth with his hand. Then he walks over to shake hands with his opponent, extending a phlegm covered hand. Without missing a beat, the other guy pulls his hand away and pats the guy on the shoulder and thanks him for the bout. It was pretty hilarious. -

An esquive vs. a flunge in sabre, for example. "The Head Crusher likes visa cards." The man smiles. "He slathers peanut butter on them and eats them." He shakes his head. "Weird, but then, most everything is weird out here - present company excepted, of course." -

Array I do find it quite annoying to have to take off your mask to do all the aforementioned stuff however, but that just might be me being lazy. -

Array I've sneezed in my mask... once it was bad enough I had to stop, take my mask off, and wipe my glasses afterwards.
I generally try to avoid it, though. Pound for pound, the amoeba is the most vicious animal on earth. -
