    Pomme predictions!

    So, Pomme is a while away- almost a month. Still, who do you guys think will do what in each event?

    I think oiuyt will win each event. Well, at least all Mens events.

    (And that's avery random guess based upon what I know of him from this forum, only. )
    Fencing is my only PvP.

    I predict that it won't be as freakin' hot as it was last year.

    I also predict that if Rochester fencers rent a van, it'll have air conditioning, or there will be a minor revolt.

    Given that there's a limit of one individual event per day I think this is unlikely.

    Well well, all predictions don't come true.

    Best of luck anyways, to all who's entering.

    I'll wait to make my picks until the entry list is more complete.

    Still TBD. With sub-possibilities of being-there-and-fencing and being-there-but-not-fencing. Further blends of the two for being-there-fencing-one-day-being-there-not-fencing-the-another also possible.

    I think I'll fence epee in the Men's Team Epee event. Beyond that, I haven't a clue.

    What about the sub-possibilities of being-there-and-fencing-but-not-being-there-both-days, and being-there-and-not-fencing-but-not-being-there-both-days?????

    if you are there-but-not-fencing, will you be directing?

    Still debating whether or not to go, on the plus side if I decide to go I have a ride or airport pick - up

    Are you all in need of refs? (and more importantly do you pay travel)

    AFAIK, we're still looking for refs...

    Here is the text from the division site:
    If you are interested in refereeing at the Pomme, please contact:

    * Linda Merritt - merritt55@verizon.net
    * Jeffrey Altbush - jeff@altbush.com, 781.944.9500 (home)

    I do not know about travel, as living about 20 miles from the venue... there isn't a whole lot of travel for me. Jeff or Linda would be able to answer your question better.

    I predict that I will be wearing a tie again.....
    When you have three Romulan Warbirds blocking the escape route, Worf has an emotional breakdown about his childhood toy, Riker announces he's gay, Data's positronic brain gets a virus, and Geordi quits because he's had just one too many imminent warp core breach.... Just sit back, breathe, and follow these simple steps:

    I wish I was going, but I don't have enough money. Maybe if I get a sweet job before the entry deadline I'll go.

    I predict that I will almost feel guilty about not competing...and then I'll start eating and the party will start and I'll forget all about it.
    I now dangle to the left....my tassle. Get your minds out of the gutter.
