| Cheap handles I use to have a source of handles for $2.99 each. I am needed to buy a good number for a new class set that I am putting together. I cannot find the site? Anyone else used them in the past, it was NOT a standard vendor and it saed me a LOT of money last time.
thanks for all the help you can provide! |

Matt,
Maybe this is the site you are looking for.
Just a note: Buyer beware! http://www.fencing-equipment.bizhosting.com/index.htm

| It's an extremely flexible blade, I'm sure. The FlickmasterPro++SuparExtreme++, to be exact. |

Notice the problem? | Someone's knuckles are really going to be hurt'en.
Here is a funny:
They list a complete foil tip (german) for like $6.99. I said, ok, I got to know. I ordered several of them. UPS shows up, opened the box and here is what I found.
The barrel was plastic and chrome platted???? What the heck? The tip was plastic with chrome on the top. The only metal material on this thing were the screws. I called the phone number and spoke with some guy with a russian accent. He goes into this really detail story on how this was USFA approved, how great they were and so on. What I answered? He went on and on, this set up was OK to use and I would have no problems with it. I did not tell him anything about my experience, yet wanted to see what they were selling and how they were getting away with it. End to a long story, don't order any foil or epee tips here. The warranty is one hit and one mile from sellers home. Not a good thing.

| I'm no expert, but the sabre blades look a little fishy. Why is the electric one $1 more than the practice one when they're bare? And what's an S-2002 blade? |

| Actually, I have seen blades stamped S2001 and 2003, so I wouldn't be surprised if some manufacturer decided to just stamp the year of manufacture on their sabre blades. |

| Yeah a lot of them did actually. The first few years, it stopped being common after early 2003 to the best of my knowledge.

| The FIE lists http://www.ggg.com.hk/ these guys as a vendor. I might be making a large assumption but I figure that if the FIE lists them they might be at least moderately reputable, and with prices like that....

| The FIE has unclear requirements for being a vendor. For example, Absolute is listed, but BG is not. I've never heard of Kabcom, but FencewithFun, Cartel, and other manufacturers I know with FIE gear are not listed.
Which isn't to say anything against ggg.com.hk, of course. |

| An option...order at your own risk, get a practice glove?

It's supposed to be visconti... looks more like a mutilated seagull!
And, I beg of you all, if you value your (in)sanity, don't go near what they're selling as "fencing shoes!"
