despite how i made it sound, its really not sloppy at all. the entire "disengage" portion my arm is constantly straitening and the last motion is flicking so i have right of way right before it hits.

Perhaps if you can describe it more exactly we'll give you a better description (or just have additional humorous comments to make about it, but either way it sounds like a good idea...).

Once you master that one, here's another one to try:
Wait for your opponents attack and parry it, then, instead of riposting, parry it AGAIN and then riposte. You will have right of way and can beat anyone.
If he catches on, just add another parry. That is the beauty of this move, it is always changing, like a chameleon.

| Until they realize that you are excessively on the blade, or that you are just sitting there doing counter time, decide to counter your counter time by using a compound feint attack and you are left without any blade to hit, right of way, and alone. Or they could realize that you arn't going to riposte...and just remise...invincible..absolutely invincible... |

It's even better if you laugh diabolically saying, "Bah hah hah - you will never penetrate my forcefield earthdweller!"
Meanwhile:
A plane flies over Phaeton's head....wait it is pulling a banner... but what does it say? S. A. R. C. A. S. M. This must mean something...but what?

| Well, when your avatar is a large blue and orange individual with a derranged smile it's a tad bit easy to assume that you were being completely serious...
It was the ensemble of the name, the post, the avatar, and the fact I havn't slept for a day or so... |

| I have to agree with Grasshopper, the ever-parry technique has never failed. How do you think Golubitsky got so good? ...... This technique.

"Stay where you are, me! How do I know it's you?"
Not that that will dissuade anyone from thinking I'm a moron, of course.

Now even those who get it think we're morons. No, not Morions, you moron!
(BTW, I confess -- that sounded familiar, but I couldn't place it. So I googled for it.) |

| i am the walrus. coo coo ca choo.
and the "ever-parry" will not work forever. what happens when your doing pretty lil circles and i bash your sword forcefully a few times-causing those circles to widen like anna nicole smith after her husband croaked??
suuure we could get into an if this-then that bout, i wouldnt-but you would, mine is bigger than yours kinda thing, or we could just fence
and on that note, coming to Kentucky any time soon? i wanna see this lil sidewinder move, seems like (in my addled mind) he might be engaging the blade with his arm??? hense the need to bend his arm into a flick while maintaining priority maybe? i dunno but i cant see how a flick would come into play if your arm is straightening the whole time, unless is went straight past the blade then bent to keep the attacking to your side (i.e. pushing it away with your elbow) while you tried to flick?
this is very dependant on alot of things i dont know about you so its prolly wrong, and id like to know if such an action is "legal" or even able to be called
