| Gloves, anyone? As soon as they're back in, I'm getting one, And probably in the purple, simply because it matches my unholy assortment of clors, but that brings up a point, I have seen countless polls on who uses what shoe, blade, uniform, mask, wears what kind of socks, and even what colors you'll paint your stuff in a pinch, but no glove polls, so here's mine.
What brand of glove do you use, and why?
Currently, I use an Uhlmann non-stickypalm glove, simply because they fit right, and were cost effective. |

| I think it's SG, it's that purple one. I chose it because it seemed a bit more durable than the bargain brands. It didn't really hold up to my expectations and it's falling apart now, so I'm getting a new one, which will be either the cheap Absolute glove or Purple Fencer's glove. |

| The Allstar Gripstar one currently, but I'm aiming to get the top of the line Leon Paul one, just because it looks so nice and sleek and such supple leather.
It's hard to find a good epee glove, damnit. |

| I have the same purple glove that mrbiggs has from SG. I have the same problems as he does. It is developing holes all over the place. At Summer Nationals I am either going to get one of Purple Fencer's or some other good glove that will last.

| This poll is flawed. My last 3 gloves have all been PBT. The fingers are nice and tight and are great for good feel for the grip. Who needs sloppy fingers.

| I use the three weapon grey leather from BG. I love it. It fits me very well. It has a large cuff, padding on the back of the hand, thin leather for the fingers, and it has held up to wear and tear extremely well. I've had mine for three years of fencing 3-4 times a week and it has yet to develop a hole. It was only $15 too. |

I am using a washable glove from American Fencers Supply.

Obviously...I use my own glove (actually...one of the earlier prototypes.) | Your fencing wire is the only one that passed muster at the moment with about 0.6 ohms, so I will go with a company that has a good track record in my mind.

| Pity this wasn't made a multiple choice poll...
I voted for my favourite glove (Allstar 'Gripstar') but also use Alstar non-stickys aswell as cheap -- but durable and washable -- StM gloves.

| I am now using HOM's purple glove, in preference over my previous favorite, the Uhlmann non-grippy. |

| I'm a fan of the Duellist Grippy gloves. They fit well, have very nice padding in the back for sabre and they make me look like spiderman!

I am using a washable glove from American Fencers Supply. | Oddly enough a teammate of mine came across several for sale and managed to pick up - oh eight of them I guess. Kind enough to give me several as well, bless her heart.

| Right now I'm trying out an Uhlmann glove after wearing through two LP gloves within ten months. I'm thinking there's got to be a burr somewhere on one of my grips to the gloves to be that torn up. The seams are splitting right along where the thumb panel is sewn onto the palm. |

| I just got the slightly advanced absolute washable glove. Very nice so far lots of padding, but good finger grip etc. The cheap washable lasted for a year so I have high hopes for this one.
And I don't know if UM has any more of the santelli gloves (I know we sold a bunch) but if someone wants one I can ask around |
