Bummer! I bet the machine didn't score any of those as touches.

I wouldn't blame that on new blades though. I had a blade shoved up my sleeve once during infighting and that was decades ago.

Touya took an injury timeout and concluded the match (victoriously, unfortunately).

The first case Inq. cited (Loomis vs. Hacking) ended with an injury withdrawl and Ms. Hacking was taken off by ambulance.

I don't know what the resolution was in the case of EDew's student, although he might have mentioned it here at the time (~3.5 years ago).

OK so for a serious moment; back to my question. I am new to using these S2000 blades. Do I have to do anything different than what I was used to (which is to train them with a mild bend and be careful with hand position on point attacks) to use them safely? I use point attacks a lot, and I have no interest in causing accidents.
