    Summer camps

Well the subject says it all...
are you going to a fencing summer camp at all or is your salle doing anything?

For all those who haven't read the 'potterville' post this is what my salle is doing.

For two weeks in August, we welcome Boris Koretski (Olympic team foil gold medalist,
Olympic individual silver medalist, and World Cup gold medalist) and Alexander Romankov
(5-time world champion, 2-time Olympic medalist) to teach two advanced foil camps. The
first, August 13th through the 17th, will be for nationally ranked junior and senior foil
fencers. The second, August 20th through the 24th, will be open to all foil fencers 12 and
older. Each camp will meet in the morning from 9:00 to 12:00 and in the afternoon from
1:30 to 4:30, and will teach advanced techniques, tactics, strategy, and training.
The Saturday after each of these camps will be an open foil tournament. We invite all
fencers to participate and fence with the elite students.
The fee for a one-week elite camp is $400 per student (includes tournament fees). A
deposit of $150 is required to reserve a place; the balance is due the first day of camp.
Students in the elite foil camps should bring their own gear. Contact us for more
    information about lodging options.

One more thing that i forgot to say. our own coach Garik Balayan is also going to be there. you can find out about Gary and what he has done is his 42 years of coaching on the website mentioned earlier..

Well arcon you know the old saying... if you can't have fun at least you can listen to people talking about the fun that they had...

Really though. so sorry that you can't go to any of these... i thought that i was not going to be able to either. and then my grandmother asked if i wanted to... one good things about grandparents...
