Fencing virtual reality?

My son has wanted to fence since before he could talk. His 10th birthday is coming up soon. Does anyone know of a fencing virtual reality game? Thanks.

Do you mean those games that requires you to wear a head gear? Or do you mean the console games(e.g. PlayStation 2 Sega DreamCast). Or do you mean the arcade games that you need to put quarters in to play.

I don't know if there is a VR fencing game out there, I think probably there isn't any. But I know Soul Calibur is an excellent video game. You might want to try that.

I don't think it's suitable for a 10 year old but Seversance: Blade of Darkness is the best "VR fencing" game on the PC. It's fairly violent but you can turn the gore off.

There isn't a substitute for actual fencing experience and age 10 he is more than old enough.

I was hoping for a game that used head gear. Thanks for your replies.

In that case, go to DisneyQuest in Chicago and play "Ride the Comics." You are in a virtual reality world of cartoons, and you have a light saber to fight the bad guys. One of the coolest games I have ever played in my life, but my fencing training hurt my score in the game. My girlfriend, Susan, got 12 of the baddies, most anyone had that day, to my whopping 3. Tons of fun, though, and it's right next door to the ESPN Zone.
