    AOL Problems for the Moonster

This afternoon, for no reason whatsoever, AOL decided that my screen name (Moonitic) needed its own account. Fine & dandy, but it deleted everything: fave places, etc.

While I threatened bodily harm to the entire working community at AOL for doing this to me (I have a lot of work that was deleted), hubby called & talked to someone. It should all be back in 48 hours.

I could really use some fencing right now. Unfortunately, the baby couldn't.

So, I'm still alive...just in AOL limbo until they can fix the problem that they caused.

Ah, yes, the wonders of AOL. I'm with you there... AOL can be a pain in the you-know-what sometimes. <img src="graemlins/blah.gif" border="0" alt="[Blah]" />

I use the AIM service. Currently the program resides in a hard-disk drive on top of my monitor. SOMEDAY I'll get round to transferring all the files over and be back to my mocturnal chatty self.

I have no idea why I just told you that. I can tell by the look on your face that you couldn't care less.
    I'll shut up now.

Use EarthLink for your Internet connection. It is cheaper by $2/month and you can still use AIM with your AIM screenname if that is your wish.

"Frinking"? Deliberate or no, methinks I like the term.
It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag. - Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

We found out that since I have to log on as a "guest" (on my own d*** computer!), the files I need are blocked, i.e. favorite places, signature files, filing cabinet, preferences, etc. It has been 48 hours, & Moonitic isn't under the main account yet. Now it's time to give AOL heck & get some free time from their sorry hind ends.

As for changing, no can do. Moonitic is a huge account that I use for everything. If I ever did switch (which would take me weeks to even prepare), I'd never go near AOL again. I think I'll tell their dumb behinds that, too.

Moonitic...Moon...put DOWN the sabre, Moon...there, nice Moon...

AOL: What are you doing to my Moonitic? You trying to screw with her?

Alright, Moon, nevermind. Have at 'em.

I just wanted to let everyone know I'm back. I found out that somehow AOL gave my screen name its own account, therefore locking me out of my own internet allowances. Everything is okay now.

Well, aside from the fact that on April 20th I had a BABY!
