Health News Review

With all the medical threads popping up today, it reminded me of one I've been meaning to circularize...
Health News Review
So the next time you learn from the evening news factoid that margarine is better than butter, or you should stop drinking your wine, you can check their grades.

I was being a bit flippant - but the point of the site is to expose sensationalistic or poorly researched/executed health journalism. Since health is the time/column space filler du jour for most media, I was pleased that there is somewhere to go next time I'm told that I should eat 1 lb. of bacon @ every meal...

Well I'm not a medical authority, but I bet eating a pound of bacon at every meal would definately have an effect on your health!

I think gtmac's sig (and possibly parrythis' one, too - can't be bothered going to check) calls it correctly - everything in moderation.
