Reebok TV Spot

I Just saw a Reebok Shoe tv spot that depicted conventional sports taken to the extreme, I think? Anyway.. I've only seen it once so far, but it contains a 1 or 2 second clip of a fencer who appears to be body tackling his opponent.
If thats what really was happening in the clip, then I'm wondering if Reebok did fencing a dis-service. OR is any exposure good exposure. So...

What do you think about it?
Did I get the wrong perception of this spot?

I saw that. It was here awhile ago. At first I thought, there are days when I'd like to tackle somebody. Then I thought, they can't do that unless they are dry fencing. Notice, no weapons?

Are they still showing that? I'll have to ask Tim Weske if he gets residuals for that. He's the guy being tackled.

It was actually shot at my own salle, SwordPlay in Burbank (Tim's the owner). The guy doing the tackling is not a competitve fencer. Brian's part of the stage combat crew.

I seriously doubt it did any sort of disservice to fencing. C'mon...it's not even 2 seconds! besides, it DOES kinda fit the tone of the whole ad.
