I recall Rusty Epee. Maybe she's busy, with school being out???

If by "saber use" you mean me...I'm still lurking around. I didn't take to the Arconia threads and I'm not going to Nationals this year so I haven't had much to contribute lately.
But if anyone wants to hear about the exciting trip to Baja I've got planned that's keeping me from going to Nationals, you just let me know -
it's LTNS, matey.
Where's Baja? Sounds Asian. Here's hoping you have a great time.

This is just like talking about fencing. All I needed was the pretense of a question about it and off I go.
I'm going to Bahia de los Angeles in Baja, Mexico. This is about half-way down the peninsula on the gulf side. There is a sea turtle research station there. Earthwatch has organized a volunteer project where participants spend two weeks assisting in a study of sea turtles. We'll set out nets to catch turtles, weigh and measure them, examine their stomach contents, take DNA samples, attach monitors and/or "critter cams", and do some grunt work around the holding tanks. We'll be staying in thatched-roof 3-sided huts (no floor) with no electricity. I'm taking my 17-year-old daughter too. We're both pretty excited about the whole thing.
If you've never heard of Earthwatch, check out their website at www.earthwatch.org They're good people. -
Wow that sound terrific. Here I've been sitting in a dull science class all week and you're getting to go out and do it!
Have fun you guys. -
saberkid still reads the posts, i guess he just got kinda bored with it
