| GMC Truck Commercial I was just watching the end of Survivor, and lo and behold, a commercial for GMC trucks comes on with a fair amount of sabre fencing in it!
Anyone else seen this? Opinions? I thought it was awesome. |

| fencing commercials are always fun. Although I haven't seen that particular one, a favorite of mine is when two fencers are fencing with fish on the food network. |

| Saw it I saw it!!! I think they were trying to use it as a metaphor for "precision engineering," because they also showed a wristwatch...in fact, I had thought it was a Bulova or Tag Heuer commercial before I saw the truck. It made fencing look very cool. Good publicity for us. |

| I would agree...it was definitely well done.
The watch was shown to represent "prcision engineering". The fencing scene was foolowed by the word "grace". I think there was one more thing shown, but I was so excited about the fencing I missed it! |

| But they still weren't dressed correctly. Proper sabre flunge but then on the close up the sabrist is wearing a foil lame!
Perhaps it's a preview of the "new" foil once the next set of rules changes goes through. |

I saw sabre lames and no flunge. I guess we didn't see the same commercial. |

| I know, it's a ridiculously stupid show, but my sister bets on it, and stupid me got hooked last season rooting for her chick to win. |

| Depends on the fish. Just get an electric eel and hook it up to a 2 prong and you've got flick city, baby! |
