| Viggo. 'Nuff said.
Though I do agree on Colin Firth as Darcy. The puffy shirt fencing scene... Oh baby.

And he doesn't really do it for either. Try Kevin Spacey. *drool*

| The name Viggo always makes me think of that evil painting from Ghostbusters II.

| Just to be random... anybody who can tell me what the equation 6(x+1) + 5x = 50 represents gets a rep!
That is to say what inspired me to come up with that particular equation?

| 11x + 1 = 50
11x = 49
x = 49/11
That what you were looking for?
EDIT: Never mind, that's not it.

| Actually you didn't read the equation right mister engineer...
6(x+1) <> 6x +1
6(x+1) = 6x + 6
EDIT: x = 4 but I'm looking for the significance of the equation rather than what x equals...
And here's a clue: What comes in groups of 5 and 6 units and has a total count of 50 units?

11x=44
x=4
I would say boredom inspired you most likely. Oh! Are you starting to learn Algebra?

| Rep to poor_nizzie!
And yes boredom and thinking about an easy way to remember the sequencing of the stars on the flag. As far as algebra goes, it is fun, but no I'm nowhere close to starting to learn that, after all they don't teach algebra in Ga till you get into post-grad work!

Originally Posted by Black Jeebus And here's a clue: What comes in groups of 5 and 6 units and has a total count of 50 units? | As a Canadian the answer is beer.... you'd be surprised how often beer is the answer to many questions... even mathie ones like this....
It's Friday night and you go to the store and they're out of two-fours... so you pick yourself up 10 six packs.... you're really thirsty on the way home... so you crack open a beer and so does your buddy.
Now we only have one road in Canada but it's really, really long so you open up another... and your buddy's being social guys grabs one too.
Your driveway comes up 2 beers (each) later.
But just before you park the car... you remember that your wife gets mad you when you drink all the beer eh? So you put 5 bottles in each case, and you have 2 left over... so you down those quickly eh?
Your buddy and you go into the kitchen swearing to high heavens how the new metric system has changed the 12 pack into a 10 pack.... cause that's the way it is with the metric system eh?... and the 6 packs are now 5 packs!
Damn govenrment just can't stay out of our beer!
I need a beer! Anyone want one? That was a long drive eh?

| I never said anything about driving... much less driving an automobile. We use dog sleds up here anyway....
'Sides....swerving is a way of life here.... swerving other drivers, moose, ice on the road.... not many accidents ditches are wide enough and frozen enough to drive on so no... not really eh?
Damn government! There's now a penguin burger tax... unless you buy more than 6 then it's GST free.
