| What I meant was avoid the filling stuff (a bottle of Guiness or Sam Smith's is a meal for me), and I can't drink much of the ultra-hoppy brews like Fat Tire.
And why use the good stuff for a game anyway? Beer pong is a (fun) medium to get hammered. The "good stuff" is for a long night of watching baseball and fraternizing with ancient chums over strong dubliner cheese and hummus on toast.*

*This is supposed to happen sometime this week to celebrate the end of the semester. Sorry coach, I can't come in today. I'm too relaxed for the ubiquitous mask-whackings and crotch stabbings by newbie fencers.

| I hope not; I'd never have any time to fence for all the sense I'd have to knock into people.
I like anime now and again, but the people who get obbsessed with it, and with Japan in general, are a blight upon the world.

| I think the Japanese Prime Minister might be taken aback by that comment. Surely he is obsessed with Japan, right? It got to be pretty much all he thinks about, no? Does this make him a blight on the world?
Sorry... in general I agree with you though. Anime fiends are hard to be around sometimes.

Remember, you started the cheekiness!
I despise the whole anime graphical trend of ridiculously huge explosions and mouths, wasp waists, super-skinny or cube-muscled characters and all the dramatic themes associated with them.
Miyazaki is the exception, of course.

| Pshh, the point is that there's good and there's better. Use the good to play beer pong, and the better during those nice nights of hanging out with friends. As a college student (we're poor) that might mean Yuengling and Killians, or Amber Boch or Heineken and occasionally even Bud Select but respect yourself and stay away from the Beast, The Natty, The IceHouse, Shlitz, High Life....if it tastes a spear in your gut don't do it. If it has to be so cold that it freezes your tastebuds on contact to be palatable, don't do it.
As for liquor pong I see it all the time, either fill the cups with mixed drinks or shots and enjoy being wasted if that's your thing. I definitely saw some 20 something odd cup Hypnotiq pong at a frat house one night. That had to have some interesting (or not so interesting depending on how you look at it) results. Gosh, for one that doesn't drink much I sure have learned a lot about how to get drunk. Thanks college education.

| Fat Tire is not what I would call an ultra hoppy brew. It has more of a biscuit taste to it. For hoppy, Stone Ruination pretty much takes the cake.
Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout should not be used for anything, especially not at the exhorbitant prices they charge for a four pack.
Anyway, Whats everyone's favorite beer? I like Westmalle Dubble and Rochefort 8 (my favorites but pretty much any thing that is a Belgian brown ale is good, except De Koninck). For an American beer, Anchor Old Foghorn Barleywine. So what interesting beers do you guys like?

| Hmmm, I don't really drink all that much but I find that I can appreciate a lot of the darker beers. I really can't stand bitter (kingfisher for example)....as far as a favorite I think I have to go with Red Stripe (HOOOOOOOORAY BEEEEEER!!!)They clearly have the best commercials.

Bud is my minimum, and it's what's usually on hand at the houses I frequent. If all there is is Miller I don't drink. <shudder>

P.S. Has anyone ever tried "HeBrew: The Chosen Beer" before? I've heard good things about it. I'd just buy it for the bottle and cap.
Hehehehe... He brew.

| Have to argue with FG33 here. Draught Caffreys is the best beer, though for some reason it's almost impossible to get in my part of Scotland
