fencing mascots

Anyone have their own personal fencing mascots? Like a little stuffed animal or something who lives in their fencing bag?

Me, I have a skeleton finger-puppet named Mylf. He and his beanie baby skeleton brother Skully come to fencing with me every week. Call me juvenile, but it brings me some kind of amusement.

For no reason whatsoever I will mention that my brother has put Mylf up on a branch of the Christmas tree. It's like A Gothic Christmas Special going on over here!

I have a fencing Tigger that I dont take to competitions but he stands guard over my fencing gear at home. I always take a picture of my adopted grandfather with me to competitions, as he is the one who bought me all my gear.

I have a lucky stuffed hippo that comes to all of my tournaments. He is nameless though. He gets tossed around so much that he's probably going to get torn apart by some misdirected flecher someday, so I don't name him. He's just the lucky hippo.

I had a small goofy doll in my bag for a while, but that eventually left. I do wear a necklace though with a Huaca (a warrior one), that represents courage and stuff like that on it. I guess my Huaca could be considered my mascot

A small Black & White photo mounted on foam core board of Harpo Marx fencing "Kurt" from the movie A NIGHT IN CASABLANCA. It reminds me that I fence for recreation and fun, and to not take it all too seriously. If you have viewed the film and watched that particular sequence,it pretty much covers how I approach bouting in general.
It's about enjoying fencing vs blowing a gasket while competing.

I have a mini race car from a McDonald's Happy Meal... my friend gave it to me for good luck at states one year, and it seemed to work

I don't, but my friend Sean keeps two little stuffed animals in his bag as mascots. He used to say it helped him meet girls at tournaments, but since they've all turned into women now, I don't think he has as much luck!

I carry twenty beanie babies, forty stuffed frogs, ninety-five stuffed bears, two-hundred sixty-seven stuffed alligators, eight-hundred sixty-six stuffed lions, and fifty-two thousand nine-hundred twenty-three stuffed cows.

I have to use four extra-large chests mounted on furniture-moving dollies in order to carry my fencing equipment and mascots with me to tournaments and practice. My fencing equipment actually only takes up the space of one medium-sized fencing bag. I had to sell my car and purchase a full-size pickup truck in order to transport the chests.

It would take seven 8-foot Christmas trees to put each mascots on a Christmas tree branch.

But that's only the beginning. In order to bring good luck to myself, I must strap each mascot onto my body. Since I cannot cover target area, all my mascots are strapped onto a special netting which is then strapped to both my legs. I can hardly move and usually am standing still during the entire bout. With the amount of lucky mascots surrounding my body, my opponent usually finds him or herself, jumping in a fleche motion in order to clear the mascots and get within scoring distance.
