    Triplette Uniform Care Instruction

I just noticed something odd on Triplette's uniform care instructions... the jacket is their stretch nylon (373) and the knickers are their stretch nylon (420)... the tag on the jacket says:
    MACHINE WASH.
    GENTLE CYCLE
    WARM, NOT HOT
    WATER
    NO DRYER
    while the knickers read:
    HAND WASH COOL. RINSE
    THOROUGHLY. DO NOT
    WRING. HANG DRY. DO
    NOT USE DRYER. NO
    BLEACH. SEAL VELCRO
    BEFORE WASHING

my question is ... why are the knickers so much more demanding? why cant you machine wash them (i do but havent had any problems) ... why cant you bleach them? THEY ARE WHITE ... i dunno... just confused and amused... opinions?

Don't bleach any fabric on which you rely for physical integrity. Even the most bleach resistant fabrics are going to lose some strength after repeated bleachings.

Bleach is death to Kevlar. Other puncture resistant fabrics such as Spectra can tolerate it, but the safest approach is to avoid chlorine bleach altogether. If you repeatedly bleach cotton, it, too, breaks down.

    Remember, better dingy than dead.

i had a feeling it was probably that... but im really stumped as to why they would put it on the knickers but not the jacket... im guessing it was probably just a mistake... if anyone else has this jacket do me a favor and take a look... let me know what the tag says... my curiosity is getting to me
