| Duke Fencing class of 2010 hey I'm going to Duke University next year and was wondering who else will be attending and plans on fencing (just trying to meet some new teammates). Leave a comment and refrain from making duke lax jokes (I hear them all the time). |

| I won't be going to Duke (perish the tought, given that I was born in Chapel Hill ), but I'm not far from where you will be. While Alex is a great guy (I really do like Alex), he won't necessarily encourage you to spend a lot of time fencing out of practice or competitvely outside of the relatively limited dual meet season. If you're bored, UNC has a club that meets twice a week @7 pm where you could meet some more fencers
Just so you know |

Just so you know | And from May - August, when all of the college clubs in the Triangle area slack off, the foil at Raleigh Fencers is still pretty steady. (Saber and epee are less certain unless a bunch of our foilists decide to "take a break" by working on a second weapon.) Get in touch if you're interested or if you're in the area before training starts at Duke: Raleigh Fencers. If nothing else, we hope to see you competing a bit outside of the NCAA dual meets. I know that UNC's team seems to use some of the the local open events to warm up for their NCAA season. |

| I have no personal experience with Duke Fencing, but a girl I fenced with in high school is there, and loves the team, and loves Alex. From everything I've heard, it's much fun.

| Yeah....you're already in, you know you're going to be fencing, and you want to meet other fencers; hmmm........ I can't say about the class 2010 b/c I don't know who chose to go or got in outside of one or two, but as far as current members go you should do what all the other college kids do: FACEBOOK. (And be sure to sure to search fencing...)
