| I came close to also posting this.
It won't work for me, but all my fencing friends are accessing it fine. Also, sometimes it works but takes awhile to load.
For firefox and internet explorer

| ok, you caught me.... FRED has outgrown his server. The traffic he gets is just more than the poor little machine can handle; the server load and response times have been bad all week. So this weekend I've been setting up a fat new dual xeon box with a crapload of RAM (ok, only 2G, but that's not bad...) for FRED to live in. I'll probably finish moving him into his new house overnight tonight.
I was hoping to get the move done before anyone noticed.

| FRED Downtime - The next on the list of things Junior and Cadet fencing has messed up. (I'll toss in my being beaten by a 14 year old in my last tournament to that list.) |

| update FRED moved into his new home overnight last night, kinda like when the Colts fled Baltimore in a couple Mayflower moving vans under cover of darkness.
Response times should be much improved.
NOTE: I am still working on the XSLT support on the new server, which for the non-geeks means that for the time being, results uploads from Fencing Time 2.x are not working. I hope to have that fixed today.
Updates as events warrant....
Thank you for your patience....

| I assume today's outage is somehow related? Not to harp at all . I'm confident you'll have it fixed shortly!

| Apache stopped responding overnight. Nice of it to do that before I got a chance to set up the auto-restart script on the new server .
Should be responding normally now.
While I go investigate.....

Not sure why we really need threads every time a fencing resource of the web, whether the USFA site or FRED or whatever goes down.

| Another day, another mis-configuration fixed on the server.
I'll admit, This move is not one of the smoothest I've done. Last time I moved FRED to a new server (back in september, IIRC), Like three people even noticed.
Anyhow, should be good now.
