Vick has no receivers, McNAbb doesn't have a running back and only had a receiver for half of one season (and they went to a SB that year), McNair only had a great D and a healthy Eddie george for 1 year but never really had great receivers still got to the superbowl and lost by 1 yard to the "greatest show on turf"...

...all these guys basically had very similar skill sets (though clearly some variation within that set).

So here's hoping VY gets a RB and the tennessee gets a little stouter
have you seen steve young's passing stats??

Sure, he was amazingly efficient in the West Coast offense, but would we remember him that way if he had never "got the monkey off his back"? No. He would've been Fran Tarkenton - a runner who was scrappy and could pass pretty darn well too.

    ...but we've gotten off topic.

Anyone else want to gripe or rave about their teams performance in the draft?

I'm skeptical on Joseph Addai. He's like Edgerrin James, a small powerful guy who ... runs standing up? But I remain faithful in the teaching abilities of Dungy et al.

Damn you, Patriots, for taking Maroney the pick before us, but I suppose it's only fair, given that we stole your kicker and all.

As a Colts fan, I'm used to seeing sportswriters giving us a C or C- every year, and then forgetting that when those 2nd day picks become starters on a pass-happy offensive line, or pro-bowl linebackers.

Really... I wish that ESPN had to revisit the previous year's draft before the next year. God knows they run article for months about it! Dredge up those old C- or all those comments about how the Seahawks reached for Tatupu!
