Odd Problem

I was playing around with one of my weapons, and occasioanlly, when I wold flick or shake my weapon I would see the light on my tester box flash. Convinced that it was not the bodycord(It was your bodywire Purple) or the tester box, I looked for breaks in the wire, none. Next, I moved to the tip. The only thing wrong on the outside was a missing tip screw. When I unscrewed the tip I found a lone tip screw roling around. It must have been setting off the light because when I removed it, the weapon worked fine. How could this tip screw gotten in there? I don't think there is a way for this to happen. As far as I can tell this was 2 problems. The first being the missing screw, and the second unrelated to the first, that there was a tip screw in the tip causing the short. Is this assumption correct?

Yes the screw can cause the lights to go off has it is shorted across either the spring or the contacts and I am betting the screw work it way though the spring to shorted across the contacts. The other problem it simple work it way in at the bottom of the tip when the tip was up and if you hit it just right the tip move just right to allow the screw and it can happen it the tip is loose inn the barrel I have seen this problem before
