Probably the nearest club to you would be in Rolla at UMR. I'm not sure how big they are. They have a link in the club directory of this site. However, I tried meeting with them back in January without success. It would have been the first week after the semester break so they probably weren't real organized yet.

I know it's late notice but there is a tournament in St. Louis tomorrow morning at Missouri Baptist College (Mason and 40, near the new Mormon Temple). The events are Beginner Foil (less than one year experience) 12:30 close of registration, Open Sabre (1:30), and Veterans foil and Epee (2:30). You don't need to pre-register.

The beginner foil tournament will be fenced non-electric and you don't need to have a complete uniform (just jacket, mask, and weapon). You don't need to be a USFA member but you won't earn a rating. We expect about 40-50 fencer for this one. The other events will be electric USFA sanctioned events.

See our schedule & who to call at members.aol.com/_ht_a/usfasl/StLouisFencingSchedule.html

Treasurer, St. Louis Division USFA
