There is no way that I will fence epee. To prove my foiliness(said with lisp) I just put together 2 foils last night for my club. I even stayed up til 3AM to finish them. A vulture boards an airplane, carrying two dead raccoons. The stewardess looks at him and says, "I'm sorry, sir, only one carrion allowed per passenger."

LOL... I was just behaving like the foilists in the epee thread.... I really didn't expect to get away with it, as I'm one of the top posters in the "Epeeist Only" thread.

We get repped by each other for deftly and appropriately skewering epeeists with words which is a piece of cake since they never really parry anyway. Well, it's the epeeists at our club that keep everything running. The foilists are at a loss even when it comes to no on-target lights going off, let alone fixing their own weapons, if you can call them that.

So... I'm thinking the "right of way" thing is a good thing. It teaches aspiring epeeists to keep their arms out and extended in their most effective position when lunging. Good learning tool! One test is worth a thousand opinions.
