    Hey!

I was never much of an athlete, but a few months ago I developed an interest in the sport of fencing.
As an actor, I had a few stage combat lessons involving swordplay, and our combat teacher was the one who told me about a club I could go to and learn the sport.
I've been going for about a month now, and I've purchased some equipment, and I'm totally loving every aspect of the art. It's not really the fighting that's so enthralling as the precision of the movement- the fact that every parry must be so slight, to make the opponent's blade miss your body by only a fraction of a degree- that's what I find beautiful.
    Ummm....
and I enjoy candlelit dinners and long walks on the beach..?

Sounds like you should fence epee. It's all about fine motor control and small adjustments.

Yes. So fine and small, in fact, that they do a fine imitation of those of a corpse....
