Dance, Dance, Revolution

Hey guys!

Btw, this is FencingQueen (I had to re register..) Anyways..

Has anyone played Dance, Dance, Revolution? It's an arcade game, but it also has a play station version. It is the best game ever!

It is so great, lol.. I love it

I'm not the best at it (it's hard!) but I really like it. For anyone who doesn't know what DDR is, it's basically a dancing game! It has a floor pad with arrows going up, down, left, and right and you follow thearrows on the screen and hit the floorpad arrows with your feet.

Any other DDR fans?

I'll always be a fan of the DDR - they had great sweaters that they gave to their military... wait... we're not talking about the Deutsche Democratic Republic? d'OH!

You need help, mate.

I think I've seen that game in arcades. People bob about on an illuminated box, and swear when they run out of money. I had a go once, and didn't get the hang of it. (I was drunk mind you)

Oh yeah...I really want to get that one for my playstation. I've seen it at a local arcade but never have time to go play it. It's a really big hit in Asia.

Yeah it's pretty cool.

We were all taking shots dancing to the jungle book at work recently.

Does anyone know if the mat works with Parapa the Rappa.

Yeah, it came from Japan (as does most electronics) and it was a huge success so they brought it to the states. Not sure about the mat.. what is that game anyway? All I've heard about it Para Para Party or something..

Parapa the Rappa was a really cool game for the PS 1 about a little guy (a Chihuahua I think) who wanted to be a famous rapper. He had to perform a number of tasks like learn Kung fu and how to drive a car. The tasks were all set to music and you used you’re the joypad to make Parapa dance. It had really addictive tunes, funny dialogue and neat animation. If you can find it (its probably in the bargain section these days) it’s well worth checking out.

Funny that.. A small group of us went down to the Troc a couple of days ago, and played DDR. DDrunk.

We figured that the most effective way of wasting money, and getting booted from the Trocadero, is to stand on the board, legs akimbo, Air guitar strapped on and headbang.

Hmmmmm...
Not good.
