Yes, been there done that...
Also, you can check Amtrak to Pueblo and then Greyhound it from Pueblo to Colorado Springs.
Those were fun trips.

| Taking AmTrak would be more economical for me, just $280 round trip, the problem is that it's roughly a 36 hour journey >< riding coach basically >< and no fencing on the train >< >< ><
Chuck, mayhaps if you decide to drive I could team up with you on the way home from Session 3.

| Denver? Is anyone else interested in flying into Denver. There seem to be several shuttle companies that go from Denver to Colorado Springs. Flying into Denver means SW airline becomes a possibility. |

| Denver is much more attractive for flying ($140 + tax). What's the shuttle cost?

| Shuttle costs $50 each way, which adds up. Although if enough folks come into Denver, maybe we could charter something.
From where I sit, the opportunity cost of missing 2 days of work driving back to NY seems like a bad idea. However, the first session starts on a Monday, so if folks from the northeast are thinking about carpooling, I'd be down with that.

| It looks to be about what Darius said except that each additional person is only an extra few dollars so if we had a full van it would probably be cheaper. As I have to come in on friday, driving is not an option. Denver has the added benifit of direct flights. I am willing to spend a few extra dollars to avoid 12 hours in transit. Most places dont seem really willing to give you rates without you call them |

| The armorer's info packet mentions several times the need to stay hydrated, talking about a rigorous schedule. I'm assuming this is just a copy and paste from the coach's packet as I don't see how the armorers will get much of a workout.

And many times the armorers spend considerably more time embibing dehydrating beverages than many of the coach-students.
And the number of hours that they can put in certainly qualifies as rigorous, even if it isn't a physically taxing.
That said, yeah, it's a copy-and-paste thing.
