    Disney

Speak up people, what's your favorite disney movie?

I'll start, my favorite is The Little Mermaid.
I see the good times etched in your face. I see the good times, that were once in place. I see the bad times, lurking in your eyes. I see the bad times, through the shadows and lies. The mask you put on is easy to see. The mask you put on, is no match for me.

    Animated:

    Tarzan

    Beauty and the Beast
When you have three Romulan Warbirds blocking the escape route, Worf has an emotional breakdown about his childhood toy, Riker announces he's gay, Data's positronic brain gets a virus, and Geordi quits because he's had just one too many imminent warp core breach.... Just sit back, breathe, and follow these simple steps:

The fact that he would propagate such a dastardly technique is just evil on a scale that rivals Eve's causing the downfall of man! <<< The D stands for DENSE!

I think Disney movies mostly suck, but I did like that scene in Dumbo where he gets drunk and then inexplicably trips out.
The pen may be mightier than the sword, but why pick just one?

Did anyone see the Smigel cartoon on 'Saturday Night Live' last night? About the two kids who wanted to live in the Disney "vault" so they could keep watching their favorite animated films, and the horrors they found in there?

    Vicious, but hilarious.

Hands down, "Beauty and the Beast." She's smart, bookish, stubborn and brunette/brown-eyed (not something you see every day in Disney). He's big, hairy, sexy, and ill-tempered. The attractive but evil villain uses antlers in all of his decorating. What's not to love?

The only thing I don't like about the movie is that the Beast turns into that simpering red-haired prince at the end. He looked better as a beast. You can tell that Belle agrees... just watch her eyes when he first transforms. It's as if she's saying, "WTF? That's not the man I fell in love with! I want the beast!" But since beauty is indeed on the inside, she sucks it up and stays with the wimpy-looking prince. Now, that's love.

I think Shrek was the attempt to fix that.
