Array The only way I can carry a tune is in a CD case! No musical talent whatsoever! Fail until you succeed!

I'm an old fart, my stereo has speakers and more than one person can listen to it at a time. I also travel through this world paying attention to what goes on around me instead of fiddling with an ipod or talking on a cell phone. That is part of how I got this old! Fail until you succeed!

Array True wisdom, I must say. I personally must have gotten a lot older in the past year than, as my formerly working iPod was broken during that time and I have been too lazy to get it fixed. I do have a cell phone though, but for me that's pretty much a necessity. -

Array Absolutely!!!
Yeah, I started up a band with my friends here in Washington cause I was bored, and we suck big time. Actually, we're pretty good at screaming music -

Array There's a place called Washington in Antartica?
(sorry, couldn't resist, but this must be getting pretty old by now ) -

Array Singing! Alto, some tenor, maybe one bass note on a good day.
Plus 12 years of piano (I stopped lessons after junior year of highschool, that is, 11th grade) and...four years of violin, which I also stopped quite a few years ago. Actually, I think there is anyway - there's a Washington just about everywhere. Just goes to show how original humans can get *mutters something about aliens and eliminating the entire human race* -

in my club i dont think there are too many musicians...most of them are engineers You'd be surprised how many of us do musical things. (even us engineers)
PM me if you're curious... I don't want to put names in public.
I have at one time or another played piano, Alto Sax, and I can still play the guitar fairly decently. Just because it's funny: Originally Posted by Capt. Slo-mo If you don't want to lose fencing privileges at USFA-sanctioned events, then refrain from throwing flamagels at those events. -

Array I play tuba now, but I used to play baritone and euphonium. I've dabbled briefly with trombone. I enjoy playing concert band pieces and jazz, though I've not played the latter in some time. Brass quintet stuff is fun, too.
I've marched in parades and field band stuff, as well as being drum major my senior year in HS. I've also played in the pit for a musical once, though more often than not I'm either on stage with the ensemble (no real vocal training = no musical leads) or behind the scenes running tech stuff.
Music is awesome. "...But that doesn't mean that sabreurs aren't fun. They are, and tend to be better kissers as well which is more than reason enough to take my coach's advice and hang out with the sabreurs my age." - WP (best coach advice ever) -

Array Back in high school I was a mediocre violist. The last couple of years I have taken voice lessons. On a good day, I'm a baritone, on a bad day a bass missing a couple notes at the bottom of the range. Array Let me see... - Ocarina
- Penny whistle (used for celtic music)
- Bass guitar
I also pretend to play the piano, but I've lost much of my skills in that area. "When your opponent fears you, then's the moment when you give the fear its own rein, give it the time to work on him. Let it become terror. The terrified man fights himself. Eventually he attacks in desperation. That is the most dangerous moment, but the terrified man can be trusted usually to make a fatal mistake. You are being trained here to detect these mistakes and use them." -Frank Herbert, Dune -

Array I play about 15 instruments, and I sing... does that qualify me? Dammit Harry, that's not a plan, that's a loony tune! Similar Threads -
