lol.. you keep moving your feet and try to figure out where your suppossed to be.. following the people who are normally next to you... lol.. really you march it all sooo many times that you probably coudl do it in your sleep.. last fall a bunch of my friends and i got ot gether to march our show from freshman year (4 years ago!) and we could still do most of it as long as we had a recording of the music playing.. lol

but no.. scary is this story that my marching instructor told us about this girl who was blind and wanted to be in the college marching band.... compleatly blind... but she showed them she could march anbd keep up with the music and they let her.. had the entier show memorised and always got her dots perfectly.. one day during a show.. homecoming i think she went right instead of left down the feild.... like.. 20 yards away from the band! and somehow.. she kept playing and kept marchign and got back into formation and kept marching the rest of the show.. just by memorising everything by feel and not sight!

Trumpet, valve trombone, euphonium, baritone, tuba, coronet, flugel horn, and various valved and unvalved bugles.

Every once in a while, I'll take my trumpet out of the closet and blow the spiders out of it.

I enjoyed playing in stage bands, found concert bands kind of boring (unless they were playing Wagner or Bruckner, that sort of thing), found Dixieland to be a hoot, and could play marches (good marches like Alford and some Sousas, not a cheesy version of "On Broadway") for ever. I really enjoyed marching bands.

Actually, the one I have nothing to do with the game. I picked it up at a gift shop while hopping Indian reservations. Made from clay.

I used to be a fairly decent pianist. And I had training in voice and various brass instruments. Nowadays though, I just do percussion stuff.
That's it, I'm done with the discussion forums on F.net. It's had its uses, but the ideologues, ranters, and "experts" have drowned too many of the conversations. I'm changing my password to something random and never logging in again.

I play flute. I haven't played in band since high school, but I do still occasionally play. I also (for a few misguided months...) played piccollo. I stopped when I noticed I was having trouble hearing out of one ear...

I like to listen to music. I'm pretty bad at it but I used to play the piano and can hold my own on the drums, the recorder, and an acoustic guitar.

Female tenor?! That is unusual! How far down do you go on the F-stave? In one of my old choirs, there was a 2nd alto who could reach the A at the bottom of the F-stave, at full singing voice. Me: former choir 2nd bass, usually down to F below the F-stave, considerably lower sometimes.

    Have a nice time!
