More or less PC?

The "more PC/less PC" debate is meaningless. In history, some prejudicial concepts are always being suppressed while other loaded terms, sometimes more corrosive, are bandied about without comment. For instance, "PC" is a loaded term used to encompass any avoidance of the appearance of prejudice, and is used as a pejorative whether the avoidance is appropriate or inappropriate.

its kinda funny, the people who are telling everyone to be politcaly correct arent even the groups that are the ones being refered to.

case and point: i was walking with my friend one time who was black down the street, a person goes up to me and asks " is that your african american friend over there?". my friend hears this comment and says, " nope never been to Africa, born here in the US, so i guess im not an african- american. you must be looking for someone else"

just goes to show that no matter how kind you think you are being, assigning some-one a title that sets them apart from the group by calling a " latian american, african american, whatever american" your simply being just as rasist as the thing that you are trying to avoid, all by assinging them a name and group when all they want to be is called american
