After having one of my competitive fencers use the glove for a week, we are hooked and wanting to buy our first order, but not in purple. Cool thing is the prototype that we received is purple and the cometitive fencer that is using it for us has purpleas their favorite color.
Our club colors are red and black though so that is what we need to look at for now. Sam can you do other colors yet, esp if we order 25-50 gloves?
That is how sold we are on this product. The fit, feel and style of the glove is great, our fencer that is trying it, loves it.

Not a problem! You can call me directly at home when you're ready with sizes and whatnot. I'll pm you my home phone #.
hmmm, seems the second part of my question went unanswered: Anyone with a sample gonna be in Sacramento for the NAC, I'm intrigued but definitely can't justify $25 for the glove until I've had a chance to try it out. Thanks.
I now dangle to the left....my tassle. Get your minds out of the gutter.

So two days from the start of the touney and no word one or the other?

I've not sold a lot of the gloves at this time...maybe if Holly Ordway's going??
Edew has an armor 800 prototype, but I don;t know if he's sending it back yet (size was off). Fat Fencer also has an 800 prototype, but I don;t know if he's going.
You can see where I CAN have different colors (sheesh)...the black glove is for Ted Katzoff...the coach at Harvard-Westlake HS and Beverly Hills Fencing Club...I'd promised him a black glove months ago. The grip padding on these is the full palm from the purple version.
However, the latest Armor 800 sample has a different grip pattern...thoughts on it?
Also, between the fingers on the 800...it's ALL Dyneema from wrist to fingertip. It's a teeny bit snug, but I attribute that to the thicker Dyneema material.
Right now, I'd put this particular glove as the best in the sport for impact and puncture protection.

Try going to the Div qualls at the Burbank armory Apr 29...I'll be there
I just discovered something a bit disconcerting about the glove. THE BLACK RUBS OFF ON EVERYTHING!!!!!! Seriously, I wore it about an hour today while giving lessons - didn't even get sweaty - and not only did it leave black thumb and finger prints on the rubber grip of the sabre, but it turned my entire HAND black!
Fortunately, it washed off.
I am planning on washing the glove (BY ITSELF!!!!) and seeing if that helps, but I've never had a glove before that rubbed off color at all, much less both inside and outside.

Yeah...I didn;t notice that until after they'd been recieved. I'll have a white liner put into the next run. That as well as a lesser amount of the rubber should cut that down a bit.
On the washing...cold water and hang dry so you don't shrink the padding.

Aside from that...how'd it work?
No real info yet... all I did was hold a sabre to demonstrate en garde to a couple of newcomers ;-p

I'll give it a real test on Monday night, though.
Beetchin'...
I'm running into some flexibility problems with the 800 model...I won't be releasing them until they're resolved...but the Armor Ones are pretty much done except for some fairly minor tweaks.
I also like the grip pattern on the 800N model, but you could pobably get rid of the rubber on the palm too. I would be willing to give the armor one a try with the sticky stuff only on the fingertips.

Noted....I'm probably gonna go with fingertips only on the rubber...still thinking about it.
But...the blue is no longer available....it's enroute to Mergs, sicne it's his size and I owe him some gear...I'll try to get a variety of colors on my next run.
I am a big fan of the grippy stuff. If you fix the black rubbing off problem I will totally try one of your gloves when my gripstar dies. And if you fix the 800N flexibility problem I would want one of those. Only thing, I would want the grippy material in the inside of the hand like the non 800N gloves... Your gloves look excellent.

I suspect I'll have some options once I have the money to build the inventory.

Remember when I showed you my glove earlier? I had to restitch a part of it because it came loose during a saber bout one night. The portion that came loose resembles the piece of grip material you have on your glove, as shown. How much practical testing have you done on the different grip pattern? While I have seen your glove firsthand, and definetly believe it to be a superior product, I'm a bit uneasy about the pattern because when that bit of material came loose on my current glove, I ended up getting a nasty blister on my thumb, which ended up effecting my game for about a week afterward.
