| Renting metal pistes/strips? So I have heard that there is a company that rents metal pistes for tourneys. Does anyone know of this? I need a few to a bunch depending on how stupid expensive it is. Any info or leads would be appreciated.

| I know we've rented from Swordmasters, but I don't know how much shipping would cost you. |

I might consider it if the vendor were close enough for me to pick 'em up, though.
If it's a big event, invite some vendors and see if you can talk them into bringing a few strips with them. I believe TCA did this for the Georgia Divisionals this past weekend, and I'm sure it's been done for NACs in the past. There might still be a rental fee, but you could avoid the freight fees.
Lastly, you could always see if there are any local clubs that might be willing to let you borrow a strip or two.

| The Central Florida Division rents their strips at a reasonable cost, although it's been a few years since we have rented them. Contact Jim Campoli (Google search should find contact information if it's not on their CFD web site). |

| BG will rent for $50.00 a strip but shipping is very expensive. I was thinking about it for this year's CBO but just couldn't work it out. |

I'm not sure when it dissapeared.
And incidentally... the copper strips aren't rented to the New England division for Pomme. They are lent...
The division is against renting the strips, as the general feeling is that Bill Hall (fencerbill) probably spends more in time, effort, and materials fixing the strips before / during the tournament, and if they charged for the repairs they do on the strips, they'd probably make money off each one...
As for the OP... I would also suggest contacting Blue Gauntlet, I believe they are in the conductive strip renting business.

| TCA did not bring strips to the Georgia Divisionals. They did bring some scoring equipment when I asked them too. Never hurts to ask nicely.
