Array i have yet to wear a truly good fencing shoe- and those adiSTARs don't look so great. they seem to have soles that are too thick...

thanx very much. i m a hig school fencer. so i fenxce on cafiteria floors, copper strips, and wood floors. my legs are in okay shape although ive currently gt shin splints and my knees can bug me. i fence alot 2, every day for 2 hours during the seqason then once or twicew a week off season.

With a little work, you can find Stabils-- a shoe that isn't perfect for everyone, but many agree is good-- for less. link
