    Garozzo came second?
    Galassini fifth?

Well, I'm proud of their achievements, being Italian, but... man, the level of this competition must not be that high this year.
I've never seen Wicas fence, so I don't know if he's really above their level, but anyway... congratulations!
Looks like the USA are planning to win everything in the future of fencing.

Wooo-hooooo! Great job, Graham. (And Mr. Versace, as to whether or not he's "really above their level," I'd think that scores of 15-7 might help you understand.)

Oh, that explains a lot of things.
I mean, I know fencers from the woman's epee cadet team there in Korea who could probably beat Galassini and Garozzo.
I'm a bit sorry for Canevari, 'cause I (most people) though he was the Italian the best chances to win.

I've seen Wicas fence many times. He's a real phenom! He used to fence foil really, really well too, but his epee game has gotten even better since he decided to focus on that weapon. With his coach to back him up, he's almost unbeatable!

I'd fence super hard just to make up for the embaressment of my coach wearing spandex while giving lessons.

    Way to go wicas!

I think it's interesting that f-net has not only the latest results but has already posted congratulatory articles for these events while the USFA site has nada. I guess we should just be happy the USFA site is up & running at all...

    Great job f-net!!!

Y'know, when the only really _bad_ thing you ever hear about your coach is that he dresses oddly, you know you've got a good coach. (As though the training wasn't indication enough.) And you, grasshopper, missed out on the era of flourescent shorts over flourescent spandex, with clogs. Now _those_ were some outfits.

Agreed, though their medal count is a little behind (it still doesn't reflect the gold or silver from CME, though it does reflect the bronzes from them).

I'm just nitpicking, though. they're doing a good job with the site.
