Although I was joking about the Inverse Combo Supreme (with Cheese), I can think of at least two "moves" I do that almost always get me a quick touch in a tight DE situation. And maybe now I will think up names for them!
That said, a fencer whose game consists entirely of "moves" isn't going to get very far.

| My special move is pretty much a joke... "The Flying Fat Man of Doom" is the name... You just kinda jump in the air towards your opponent, shout and stab them in the mask. Though I am not really fat, it adds to its hilarity. It hardly works. =) |

| Mine only works on my friend Darren.
You go on guard and wait, then you put up your back hand's index finger and say "Hewo!" in a cute yet disturbingly evil little voice, elaborate in that same voice saying stuff like "Dawwen! I'm gonna eat yow sowll!" and suh, when he starts cracking up you attack with either a fleche, advance lunge, or jump lunge, sometimes use a feint disengage because of a panic parry 3.
the problem is it gets old fast and you have to be at just the right distacne to d it, too close and he'll just attack while your mocking him and then laugh after he gets the touch.
So far i'm the only one who can do it properly. |

| The best I have one called the unexpected ray finkle... but that requires the help of the referee and the death of the opposing fencer. It usually ends with me yelling "laces out!!!"
seriously though, one you should try is jumping up, raise you're front leg midair and thrust your blade under the leg to hit the opponent. If you ever succeed, make sure you have a video camera nearby because i really want to see it done in a competitive bout. I've tried so hard... goodness knows i've tried....

Wouldn't that be a card for dangerous/unexpected behaviour or some such? |

Craig | So is it safe to assume that it probably wasn't QUITE as good looking as you describe?
