We will soon be leaving for the World Cs in Korea and it is kind of disheartening that there are no threads except the brief negative one about it being televised about the WCs.
Here is one,
Fence well, all you going and know that there is support for you guys out there, maybe just not in here.
Have fun and let the contest begin!!
Sincerely,
The Momster

I'm a little sad that none of the Texas alternates were selected to go, but I guess we have enough representation on the main teams, and it's only local pride anyway, I'm sure they're all good kids. I look forward to your reports.
And good luck to all the Germans, French, Italians, Russians, Swedes, Chinese, Canadians, etc. that will also be there!
(I get a little tired of the "go USA!" and "how did our--meaning US--fencers do?" posts.)
And good luck to the US Fencers!!!!
I seriously think we need a section for fencing, and then for fencing politics (I guess this would qualify as fencing politics).

I gleefully send my best wishes and regrards to all the competitors and anticipate that my 9 year old will be able to watch exciting, inspirational fencing from those a little closer to his age. (I also hope he finds a more modest role model than Sanzo...)
Want to give three cheers to the three native Bay Area fencers attending: Doris Willette for JWF, Gerek Meinhardt for CMF and JMF, and Alex Simmons for CMF and JMF (on the Canadian team). Ted Levitt from LA, now attending Stanford, is also going, so a hearty cheer for him as well.
Wouldnt be the first time Homeland Security has called.... should have seen the one time they classified scoring boxes as "aircraft parts"
OK... I have a bag of assorted gear belonging to several fencers as well as stuff for Andrea that due to FedEx messup now needs to get to South Korea...
WCSN still thinks the junior WCs started april 1st, and have nothing about subscribing for that... anyone have any other ways to watch the competition?

Go Bay Area!
If the bay area gets three cheers, then the New Jersey division deserves 4 cheers. Abby Caparros-Janto CWF, Caroline Vloka C&J WS, Oleg Ochacki and Raz Davidson CMS, and Teddy Sherrill JME, Also Dagmara Wozniak JWS alternate. and lestI forget, Lindsay Knauer C&JWF lives in South Jersey. Not bad for the garden state.
I suggest if others bug WCSN about it they'll pay more attention. I don't know when they put up the subscription for Leipzig, but maybe there wasn't much lead time. Anyway: feedback@website.wcsn.com
or CustomerService@website.mlb.com
or
"Please call our Customer Support department at 1-866-446-8254 for additional information or assistance."
But expect them to have no clue... and I would say the phone will carry more weight than e-mail as I got a bot response to mine...
FYI: I don't think fencingchannel.net has any plans.
To all the people from the fencers club cheers for dwight smith cheers for teddy sherril cheers raskyrie davidson and 3 Cheers for my the mens epee and my coach Kornel Udvarhelyi YEAH WHOOO HOOOOOO {WHISTLES IN BACKGROUND} lol
