This is "the big one" for Arizona. It was a good sabre tournament last year, won by Bill Becker with a former Chilean national champion second. I enjoyed it a lot, apart from being taken apart by the aforementioned Chilean. :P

There are money prizes for the winners, as well. Not Duel in the Desert sized ones, but still enough to pay for one's trip. And then too the entry fees aren't DITD sized, either.

Not a lot of entries for the foil and sabre yet, but I suspect that people don't want to pay any farther in advance than they must ( which is why I haven't registered yet, myself ). The épée events are of course already shaping up to be fairly large.
