More publicity, of a sort - fark.com thread

One of today's fark.com photoshop threads is a pair of British epeeists facing off. For those of you unfamiliar with that site, it's a sort of "news of the weird" blog with many thousands of daily readers. One of the fun things they do is post images that people alter in some amusing way with photo-editing software, then post. A slight word of warning to those visiting the site, though: it's (intentionally) loosely moderated and can tend to the raunchy or gross. Don't let your kiddies browse through the photoshop threads before previewing what's there. There's some somewhat inappropriate material posted in this thread, too.

With the traffic that site gets, it's probably decent free publicity for the sport.

The yellow card one really got me laughing. Except there's no way to know if the socks fell down during the fencing, or they were down to begin with. Surprised how much people talk about fencing when they say, "oh, but I haven't done it in 10 years and I don't remember anything"

Wonderful. Although there are some rather clever ones, and an interesting discussion among fencers there.
