it seems that noone has talking about cleaning the blade before wiring it the best way to clean a blade is usely acetone in a metal pipe though if you have a dremel tool that would also do it is importent to clean the blade before rewireing or else you are just asking for more work just make to get all the old glue out before rewireing a blade

For those that use a dremel, what are the dremel ends?, (not sure what they're called) that you use?

Grindstone, cutting discs, wire brush (2 kinds)...

I find that Acetone, a small flathead screwdriver/knife, cutting disc and finally wirebrush work nicely to clean out the blade groove.

Also have a circ saw attachment, but that's not for fencing...

You use all of those? Most people I know (and trust to be highly competent) use either acetone + knife or cutting disk. Not all combined.

The best one I've found is teh diamond cutting wheel...cuts steel reeeeeeeal slow, which is perfect for grinding out a wire or cleaning acetone residue. Thanks to Tim Loomis for turning me on to those years ago.

Uaually the acetone & diamond wheel follow-up is sufficient.
