| I wish someone (New Balance, are you listening?) made a fencing shoe that came in widths. I have very narrow feet and wear a woman's 8.5 AA athletic shoe. New Balance seems to be the only athletic shoe maker that acknowledges the fact that feet come in different widths.
Nor am I reassured by the assertion that Adidas fencing shoes "run narrow". Some people's definition of "running narrow" could mean "fits an A width". Not narrow enough for me.

| Both a ladies narrow Blade shoe and a boot are being considered. But It will take at least a year. Barry Paul |

There are some days on the piste when I'm convinced my shoes are more intelligent than I am.

| I think they are a good design but just plain ugly. Just a simple thing like changing the colour would make a difference. White would be great.

Barry Paul | This (the possibility of a ladies shoe) pleases me, although it doesn't help me at the moment. Finally, someone making fencing shoes might acknowledge that women exist too. I like the others. I tried some on at USACFC club championships this weekend. I like them a lot, but they're a bit wide. Also, it'd be good if you kept in mind that some women have feet that are long, but still narrower than mens. I wear a 12 in womens tennis shoes, but mens are often too wide. Quote: |

I know we'd all love to have exactly what we want... a narrow mens shoe, a narrow womens shoe, etc., but I have my doubts that's going to happen. The shoe seems good. It just doesn't fit everyone. White would be great. | From a simple superficial standpoint, they're not terrible. The colors are not bad, but they are a bit tacky. The only fencing shoes I've looked at that I truly thought looked cool were the Adidas Adistars. However, from what I've heard, that's one of the few things those shoes have going for them.
Also, I was wishing for a link to the survey y'all were referring to so I thought I'd make my own in case someone else had the same wish.
