| Visconti grips? I have an old Santelli visconti grip I really like. I wear a 10.5 glove and the grip is large enough for me. I've ordered a "house" brand XL visconti and the largest Uhlmann visconti available and they're smaller than the old one.
Also, they're both rougher in finish and shape that the old Santelli.
Who currently makes something similar to the Santelli? |

Who currently makes something similar to the Santelli? | I think most manufacturers have their own "house" brand of viscontis nowadays. Best strategy I can think of is to sample the largest grip each vendor has to offer to see if one of them is a suitable match to the Santelli. This would be pretty easy to do at a NAC or the Nationals; might get expensive if you had to pay return shipping changes (which cost as much as the grip.)
I've use viscontis on all my weapons. I personally like the ones from Tripplette and Blade, but my hand is a bit smaller than yours.

| Santelli used LP pistol grips, except their largest (V4 in their catalog), don't know who the source was for those. |

| I'm not sure if it's LP or Negrini. I bought it around '83 and I can't remember. It's not marked. Here's a picture of it:
Thanks, Armorer, I'd be interested. |

Thanks, Armorer, I'd be interested. | Pretty certain it's a Negrini in your photo. That's the large model. I've attached a photo of the extra large--bought them around '89, for the record. They've also, obviously, been cut down in case you were wondering. |

Durando, check out the LP USA website and have a look. |

| Hi HDG,
Nope, definately not an LP as seen here: http://www.leonpaul.com/acatalog/Epee_Handles.html. I seem to remember--how, I can't tell you--that my grips came with a flimsly little transparent sticker afixed to the flange (that I promptly sawed off) which read "Negrini." Now that was a long time ago and I have degenerated most horribly.... I think the beast we're talking about is found here, last grip down: http://www.negrini.com/eng.php?conte...la=spada&cat=9 |

Although the foil grips have color-coded insulation, the size I have in mind is the red one. |
