    Club Dues

How much does your club charge for dues?

Are lessons included? If not how much more are they in general?

What sort of space are you in? (Dedicated facility with grounded strips or parks and rec building)

What does your membership buy you?

Are you a collegiate club? (many have different dues structures due to unversity funding)

Anything else you can think of as it relates to how much you pay/how much is reasonable at a local club taking into account regional variances i.e. rent is higher in NYC then in most other areas
What's the "real" world again? I don't think I can see it from my window

    College vs "normal" clubs

That thread was about dues at college clubs specifically. I mean for this to be more about "normal clubs"

    $5/month

    No. $5/lesson from my coach.

    A Jewish Rec Center.

Access to scoring equipment, access to the club insurance in case I get hurt fencing.

    No

We don't actually have any overhead aside from USFA dues, and the insurance. We have an agreement with the Rec Center that we can fence for free as long as we let their members take the beginners class free. So since we are a pretty small club without any real need to charge a lot we don't. My coach and I only charge enough for lessons to discourage people from wasting time.

What kind of insurance are you talking about here? The club carries medical insurance that covers the members somehow?

If you're referring to the insurance available through the USFA membership form, that's liability insurance that covers the CLUB against people suing.

Your USFA membership carries secondary medical coverage that can handle some expenses if you get hurt fencing.
