    Repair Instructional DVD

I have been fencing for about 12 years. I was on and off in competition so I did my own repairs but I AM NOT GOOD at repairs and wiring!!! Our club is very small and we do not have an armorer (and never has) or someone to learn from. Every time I re-wire an epee, it takes more than one time. Is there an instruction DVD on the market that can walk me through common repairs and wiring. I have a book from years ago but... It obviously hasn’t always bridged the educational gap. Any help would be welcome. Thanks.

    Ted Li

Ted Li has one that several stores carry...We are going to but havent gotten them in yet. I would suggest contacting Sue Tracey @ get-the-pointe@comcast.net and she has them.

    Ted Li armory CD

Absolute had this CD at the Reno NAC. It's outstanding for the novice. I assume that they'd have it for sale.

I would recommend this instructional. Before I met any of the armorers here on the board, my only knowledge of repairs came from the Ted Li DVD. It gave me a solid start on my journey into doing repairs.

    More Info

A few have written to me asking questions about the DVD or Video. The DVD was made by Ted Li who is a USFA armorer and an English teacher(I hope he does not get out his red pen for this message). Ted explains the tools you will need and how to repair a body cord, epee and foil.
The Director of Photography was Michael Tracey who has done freelance video work for various corporations and most of the major networks.
The cost of the video or DVD is $29.95 plus shipping. You can contact me for more information.
    Thanks
    Sue Tracey

    Thank You

I just wanted to let everyone know that I received my DVD on Friday. It would not run on my laptop but it was fine in my DVD player. It is amazing how simple he makes everything look. Everything was explained and I now understand where a number of my mistakes are made. If anyone is looking for this basic knowledge, this DVD was worth every penny. Thanks for the advice again.
