| Well, anybody who met me would know. I do have a nice label across the back of my lame...
I already knew fencergal33, Peach (from ages ago), and fatfencer, and ran into all of them there, even if I didn't have time to chat as much as I'd like. I also talked with a woman fencer from FAP who coaches a club at Bryn Mawr (?) who knew me from F.net, but whose name I have completely forgotten. |

| Lets see, well, I saw KDMK5, fencingkitten, peet, mauler, and Peach. I also refereed one of Ordway's DE's, although I didn't tell her who I was (nice flunge, btw). There is a decent chance that I refereed Inq, although, I have no idea who he is, so I really can't say. Odds are that I met more too.

| I might have met some people (in addition to FG33), but it didn't even really occur to me to ask about f.net/handles. I dunno.
It seems like alot of open tournaments that I go to have this age-gap between young adults (teens/college kids), and Veterans. I am right in the middle, at 33, and I suppose I feel a little out of place sometimes. I usually schmooze a little more with the Vets, I guess... especially since I am a HS teacher and these trips are supposed to get me AWAY from teenagers!
Anyway, I'm the stocky epee fencer of inconsistent skill with the short hair, funny goattee, and tragically blousy knickers... if anyone remembers me. I owe at least 2 of you a beer, but I was so lame that I went to bed early on most nights. Maybe 33 is old?

I did not go to the NAC though.

Belated hello!

I missed Pittsburgh hoping my ancient knee would get better. It did but only a little. So it was two out of two for World team.
If I had done worse I could shut down for the year. If I had done better I would have a good chance to qualify. With seventh, I have to do top two at Summer Championships and hope two others are no better than fifth. And I don't like hoping people will not do two well. They have to earn their way to the Worlds over my dead body but I had hoped to make it harder for them.
