    Nike MaxSight

Would you wear these if they made them for indoor sports?

It's definately an interesting concept, but I'd want more evidence of an improvement before getting new contacts (and besides, they don't come in even close to my prescription yet.)

EDIT: My mistake; they do come in my prescription; I mistook the polarity of it.

I had actually tried to get a set, but it turns out they don't have a tauric version, just spherical. So my eyes were incompatible. I was very dissapointed.

What do you mean by indoor sports? I don't know about the rest of you, but I have little problems with sun glare while indoors...

What color would you focus it for? Gray for blades? Whitish for uniforms?

I think its just another con that gets us to buy expensive products from nike. As long as I can see with my regular contacts in, I think I'll be fine.

No. Simply because they wouldn't be made anywhere even remotely close to my perscription...

It would proberly be cheaper to buy a vision 200 mask and tint the lens the right colour.

True, but at lest it would stop all the twig and branches hitting you in the face. Plus you could scare little kids by doing bad Cylon improessions

    No for two reasons.

    1. MONEY
    2. contacts suck in sports because I tend to rub my eyes at breaks because they get dry without contacts.....

I need to wear glasses to correct my vision, but I don't really like contacts. I've never tried using contacts while fencing though, but I don't think I would like it. As for my glasses, I usually don't wear them while I fence because they don't fit into my mask!

Looking through the website, Nike's got sport glasses as well. The ones for baseball appear to be the most likely candidate to be able to fit into a fencing mask; if they can fit underneath a baseball helmet, why not a fencing mask?

I'd rather fence with uncorrected vision than fence with glasses, something on my nose just completely throws me off I don't know why.

I don't need to see the blade, I can sense it coming...

That and I can distance parry....

I may see about getting the free trial just for kicks. If I do I'll let you all know what it was like.
