Useful Information on the Boardwalk 2006?

I'm registering for the Boardwalk 2006 in the next day or so.
Does anyone have past experience with this tournament?
Can you share some useful information with me/us?
Is there an airport shuttle from San Jose? Venue information?
Vendors attending-you know all the usual things surrounding a tournament.
Reno NACs were great, wish I could stay longer, but on to the next exciting fencing adventure-Boardwalk 2006!

Glad you're excited JasmineJ. It should be a great event. Some info:
It's always very well run. The organizers make sure to get strong directors for it. Last year, they had grounded strips. But it is on a much smaller scale than Reno, so just keep that in mind.
Logistically speaking, here is some info: there is a shuttle from the airport, Santa Cruz Airporter, but it's very expensive, and I would really suggest that you rent a car instead. It will probably be about the same price. There are great sights to see in SC, so you probably might enjoy having that freedom. I am badly addicted to competing, even when my fencing is in a rut.
I rented a room at Terrace Court. I think i will look for markets in the area for food and drinks.
