| NCAA MidAtlantic Regional Results Aren't you all lucky I happen to have my computer...
MS:
1. Zagunis
2. Igoe
3. Reblewski
4. Boghicev
5. Kolasa
6. Farr
7. Hull
8. Randolph
9. Ziechmann
10-16 (not in order): Truzkowski, Winnerman, Liu, Dolata, Pike, DiMarco, Wherry
ME:
1. Urman
2. Solomon
3. Henderson
4. Hurme
5-8 (no order): Burkhart, Pacia, Wieder, someone else
MF:
1. Schibilia
2. Chang
(didn't really watch the rest of it)
Women's events are still in progress. Keep in mind that regional finish doesn't = ncaa qualification, your season record is also taken into account. I can tell you for sure that the MS qualifiers are:
Zagunis, Igoe, Reblewski, Kolasa, Ziechmann, Randolph
I'll post more when I get it.

| Yea just edited the first post to reflect that. Sorry I don't have women's results, the only thing I know is Thompson over Hiss in the WS finals.

| That's a good result in a strong competition, AH.
Hopefully it gets you to the big show

| You should get the region's first At large nomination. As to what the national committee will do, who knows? This assumes the MAS qualifies seven directly to NCAA's, and I don't remember this for a fact. But even if it's six, you'd get the second nomination. |

| Side note for those of you trying tos ee who qualified or gets an at large nomination: The only list which placed the fencers in the proper order was MS all the rest you have to look at the final place column to see who quals.
Also, since this thread will die soon unless we find something to talk about: did anyone else think that the regional format this year was slightly easier to qualify out of?

| Don't know about that, but it certainly took forever >< 64 bouts of women's epee to place the last 16 people... and at the end of the day, no less. |

| One caution about actually using those results. The formula used to calculate the final placements on those pages is not the one used in reality. There are differences in final placements between what Duke posted and what will be used (the Duke forms used a simplified version that's quite simply wrong in some very important ways).
Those pages are useful for finding Regionals results but are useless for determining who has actually qualified to Nationals. That final column shouldn't be there as all it can do is cause confusion.

| Yea, I'm so confused by now I'm just waiting to see what happens instead of figuring it out for myself.

-B | You're right... I hadn't actually looked at their posted results closely, because I have a copy of the 'real' results back at the office. They did indeed just go 40%seed +60%finish w/out looking at seed factor, huh? Alas. Well, I expect our illustrious chairman will have official results out fairly soon, regardless. |

| I hope you know that your list of qualified for the NCAA Champs is from last year!
Looks like you will have to wait a couple of days for this year's list.
Good luck to the deserving contenders. |
