| Christine "Strong" Simmons Just a random pat on the back + nod of approval For those who are not good with names, she's the tiny lady who holds NAC's together.

| Dude,
If you've ever seen her physially move things around at NAC's? You'd know she's one tough lady! She'll do anything and everything needed to make things happen. Including a pushing a car out of they way to let the truck through.

| Christine is awesome. If we could clone 10 more of her, and have them work at NAC's, they'd all be done at like, noon.

| You guys don't realize the half of it. Christine is the primary force behind our NACs. Without her, we'd be up the creek....
Everyone should take a moment, during the competition, and let her know that she's appreciated. Just a "Hey, Christy. Great job!" Will work wonders. She mostly hears complaints....

| Then whatever committee who is in charge of NAC organization should step up further to the plate, because one day when this said person backs down, then the organization of NAC's will fall a part.
I'll remember to thank her whenever I go to a NAC one day if she does all these things.

| Everybody ought to know that anyway. There's so many people around toting black cards that causing her trouble will probably make you look like a chicken in a coal mine. |

| She's also just about the only person who is almost 100% guaranteed to be smiling No Matter What. I spent four days in Houston and never once saw her not smiling, I don't think.
Wonderful work, wonderful person. Go Christine!

| I'll add to the postive posts about Christine. She's the perfect example of a "Pro from Dover": unflappable, supremely competant, and a sense of humor no matter what the occasion.
A long over due public "thank you" - smart move, Mr. E |

| Too True!
She does her best to keep everyone informed as to what's going on, even if it's going to scare you.
(She came by all of the vendor booths one morning in Pitt to let us know she expected the event to last until 10pm that night. By noon she was (thankfully) back around to let us know it looked like the standard 8pm night.) Quote: |

| She's helped me out of many self induced jams related to not reading apps, misreading apps and all in all is just amazingly helpful. She really does cut through all the BS someone in her position normally shovels back to the masses.
Christine Simmons for Prez? Thats is definitely the most useful thing anyone has ever said on this forum.
On behalf of myself I nominate myself as president of the Christine Simmons for USFA President campaign.
I know she'd win if I were her campaign manager. NO ONE would fail to vote for her if, say, one of my fat rolls were to come crushing down on y'all's heads!!!
I maybe a "D" fencer but I can assure I'm the supreme master of FatFu

| I also appreciate Christine's seemingly effortless ability to resolve all problems presented to her and especially appreciate her ability to deal with distraught and panicked fencers who are certain the problem cannot be fixed. |

| As with FencingKitten, I got my intro to Christine at the Houston NAC. Wow. From the start of the day to final few stragglers leaving, she IS the NAC. She's like some Broadway stage manager! |
