USFA Website Outages: Post Files Here

Here's a solution. Other than the international.usfencing.org website, the main reason I use the USFA website is for files. If we download pdf files when the site is up and then post files in this thread, we can circumvent the USFA.

I can post the USFA Athlete's Handbook as soon as I get back to my computer.

Be careful, the USFA site is the official site, so files here can become out of date.

You know how misinformation can be perpetuated through the net, so you need a coherent way of making sure that the information mirrored is correct.

Still, given the fragility of the USFA site it'd be great to have a backup here...

USFA files

For the this season and last, the Pacific Coast Section website has kept the basic information about the NACs, entry forms, and some other USFA information available. <www.pcsfencing.com>

Hey, I know how to make sure that the mirrored information is correct and always up-to-date: just put a hyperlink to them...oh...nevermind.

Thank you for doing this. I know that some clubs do this, too. This needs to get out in the open (broader audience), though, so people have ready access to the information.

So what? Often the 70% is better than no solution. I expect most people will go to the USFA website first anyway.

Yeah, I think the rulebook is too big for an attachment. I'm working on the issue with Craig.

The rulebook is available from www.fencingofficials.org which is not often down in my experience.
