    Club Gloves

I am looking for some fairly in-expensive fencing gloves that are good quality and will last a while as club gloves?

    Ideas?

I have had good luck with the absolute beginners glove. If you sign up as a club and get the discount, they are almost as cheap as ordering from one of the overseas factories once you include shipping. If you plan on ordering a LOT of gloves and don't mind waiting a while check out Khalid gloves out of Pakistan.

I just started using the Absolute beginner glove (the one that's $10), too. No news on how long they'll last (we've only had gear a few months now), but especially since ours are just used for sabre, they look like they'll last. And they're pretty comfortable and washable, too. A lot nicer than the grotty leather gloves I remember from my novice days... some of those gloves, you wouldn't want to encounter alone in the armory at night...

I found the Khalid gloves a bikt thick and heavy myself...they were the first ones I bought in any bulk and I wasn't really that happy with them.

I will be having a regular version of my 800N gloves made for people who don't want or can't afford to buy the higher level ones. The ONLY planed differance is the material...all the other padding and such elements will be the same.

I'll drop you a line when i get them in...I may be able to work a deal.
